Missions:

Thoughts / Suggestions for Next Year:
  1. Start earlier, with project. Have a mentor to help on the project.
  2. Have more time for fun & games!
  3. Plan a field trip for the project, once the topic is known.
  4. Have meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-5 PM, and Saturday afternoons, 1-4:30 PM.
  5. For the 2 weekends before the tournament, have meetings on both Saturdays and Sundays.
  6. Have one main project binder, and add to it every meeting.
  7. Have one programming binder, and keep the notes in one place.
  8. Have a robot design binder, and keep strategy discussion info. in there.
  9. Ask parents to sign up to provide technical assistance at Saturday meetings - at the direction of the team members - for posters, props, research, documentation.
  10. At the tournament: have one team member run through a pre-flight checklist for the robot (Tires on/good? All connections tight? Attachments in good condition?)  and one for the tournament table (Everything in its proper place? Attached, or lined up, and all pieces where they belong?)
